The newest pocket projector to be releases is from a company called AAXA Technologies. Their new P1 mini projector can easily fit into your pocket, measuring 2.3″ x 1.0″ x 4.1″ (W x H x D), and weighing less than half a pound. This model features VGA (640 x 480) resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a measly 12 ANSI lumens. The P1 comes with a headphone jack as well as a composite A/V input and a micro SD card slot. In addition, this projector comes with a 1 GB of internal memory and an internal battery for wireless presentations

Picture quality is excellent in low-light conditions even with a 60" picture. Multiple input sources are accepted including VGA, Composite, as well as direct hook-ups to Ipods, Iphones, PSPs, and a myriad of cell phones. With 1GB built in and a micro SD card port the storage capacity is virtually unlimited. The onboard file menu and decoder plays virtually all media formats including MP4, AVI, WMA, JPG, GIF, etc. Battery life is rated at 45 to 60 minutes (depending on speaker use) and replacement battery packs are available.

Pentax had a mighty reputation for its SLR cameras including a much admired K-series There have naturally been some notable alterations from the '*ist' series, both in physical design and camera operation. Another change is a move away from the Penta-prism viewfinder typically found in the DS2 to a Penta-mirror system, which further reduces the weight. Menus and captured images are viewed in the 2.5-inch LCD monitor on the back, with a healthy 210,000 pixels. A useful new function is the digital preview which displays a test shot in the monitor that's saved in the buffer rather than the memory card.

The LCD right of the viewfinder offers all the photographic information you could possibly need. It is in fact a familiar place to find information. The shutter release button, which is surrounded by the main switch, is found on the hand grip, as well as the button for the exposure correction. The latter also serves as a selection button for the aperture when working with manual exposure.
