The HCL Leaptop T39 comes with Intel® Centrino® 2 Processor Technology, Intel® Core™2 Duo Processsor P7350 and the operating system on which it runs would be Ubuntu 8.10 coming in pre-installed. But you can install your favorite OS like Windows XP, Vista etc.

The 14.1″ TFT-LCD WXGA screen is a perfect size for the specifications provided. Menus and captured images are viewed in the 2.5-inch LCD monitor on the back, with a healthy 210,000 pixels. A useful new function is the digital preview which displays a test shot in the monitor that's saved in the buffer rather than the memory card.

The LCD right of the viewfinder offers all the photographic information you could possibly need. It is in fact a familiar place to find information.
